Kelly Bucher is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 23 years of professional experience providing therapy to adults facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. She specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, obsessive-compulsive patterns, chronic medical conditions, and aging-related concerns. Kelly is committed to providing accessible mental health counseling through both in-home therapy and secure telehealth services across the East Valley of Arizona.
Kelly believes that therapy should be collaborative, empowering, and rooted in respect for each client’s lived experience. Her approach blends warmth, positivity, and active engagement with evidence-based techniques that support meaningful, sustainable change. She works alongside clients to identify patterns, develop emotional insight, and build practical coping skills that promote confidence and long-term emotional stability.
Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), EMDR, and mindfulness-based practices, Kelly tailors each treatment plan to the individual. She is a gender-affirming and LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and strives to create a safe, inclusive, and judgment-free environment where adults can explore challenges openly and work toward personal growth.
Kelly brings over two decades of clinical experience to her work at Equity Mental Health. Her background spans diverse behavioral health settings, including inpatient psychiatry, outpatient therapy, and integrated medical environments. This breadth of experience allows her to understand the complexity of mental health from multiple perspectives, particularly when emotional challenges intersect with chronic illness, aging, or life transitions. As a Co-Owner of Equity Mental Health, she is deeply committed to maintaining high clinical standards, ethical care, and accessible therapy services for adults across Arizona.
